The site will be more popular, if you have many links on the network, andall the items will be positioned well. All SEO positioning techniques will be much more effective if supported by a good link popularity.

3 ways to get external links:

1.Link natural
2.Link Exchange
3.Comments without Nofollow

The nofollow (opposite of dofollow) is an HTML attribute whose function is to prevent search engine spiders to consider the link (and then the site that is linked) when calculating the rank of the site. From the perspective of the end user does not change anything, the two links (with or without this attribute) are completely identical, both allow you to visit the destination website.

The difference is that if the no-follow is present, the spider don't index the links and thus to the destination website ranking does not receive it.

CMS added a lot of defaults this attribute to all links in the comments of users, in order to prevent spam.

But this is also bad for people who comment on your articles and would be rewarded through a direct link to their site (backlink), which is why more and more often on many sites / blog administrators decide to remove the nofollow in order to encourage users to leave a comment, an opinion on the articles you read.
